Cirprotec wishes you ... happy and charitable holidays!

For 3 years now we have been collaborating with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation in order to help eradicate poverty in India.
This Christmas we have chosen a health project which aims to provide quality paediatric care to thousands of families in the poorest rural areas of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Would you like to know how the 2015 charity project went?
Over the year we have been collaborating with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation (FVF) in the nutritional programme developed in the ALUR area, in the KURNOOL region. The project was implemented in 31 community centres, with an average of 952 people each month benefitting (848 children under age four, 104 pregnant and nursing mothers and two elderly people with chronic medical conditions).

The programme aims to ensure that children, through the enrichment of their diet (high protein supplements, eggs and an average of 200 ml per person per day of a drink made with cereal and brown sugar), succeed in improving their nutritional status, and to reduce the incidence of malnutrition related illness in children less than 4 years-old.
In addition, the daily attention given to children to provide the nutritional supplement makes it possible quickly detect any health problems due to other factors, and to make sure medical attention is immediately available.
